Dine My Darling [Vegan] Catering Coming to Philly

I had the opportunity to try some of Diana Harman’s wares (from her new catering business, Dine My Darling) — and I’ll say I was impressed. In a city already falling in love with Miss Rachel’s Pantry (who has been seen teaching a sellout class at COOK), I think it’s wonderful to see another vegan catering business spring up.

The pictures don’t do it nearly enough justice, but imagine a light, spring salad featuring coconut ‘bacon’ with lemon dressing, and a curried tempeh wrap (my tastings of choice). Wonderful.

‘Urban Princess,’ women’s boutique, coming to Bus Stop space in Queen Village

I noticed a coming soon sign on the old Bus Stop space last week, and it looks like they’ve made lots of progress in there:

I rustled up my courage and went inside (since someone was in there). They really have done a lot of work already — they re-did the floors earlier in the week and you can see the painting progress. They’re shooting for a soft opening in the near future, and a grand opening at the end of the month.

Two of the owners were there, and were really nice to chat with. It sounds like a great shop, and happy to see it come to Queen Village.

Owners Cindy & Wendy (Owner Ellen not pictured).

I can’t find their website (as of yet), but at least one vendor mentions that they’ll be selling in the shop. Cindy and Wendy said that Urban Princess will be a women’s boutique selling a variety of wares — jewelry, “a little bit of everything.” Excited to see it!
